Off we go, on our flight from Orlando to Washington's Dulles Airport. JP is into the headphones and his coloring book.

Now we move on to the "big" plane from Washington to Munich, Germany. GPS
built into the back of the seat - pretty cool.

We're in the middle seats but JP is still having a ball.

Much bigger airplane - 2 seats on each side, 5 in the middle. btw, the bald
guy in this picture is NOT me. I'm taking the picture from behind him.

Ok, overseas flight is done and we make it to Munich. Now, the 2 hour flight
from Munich to Milano. Here we are over the Swiss Alps.

It's a smaller airplane for this shorter flight. Notice my GPS in the window
- pretty cool. I was able to track us over the Alps.

It's about 5am EST and we're still awake!

Our first view of Northern Italy just before we land.

Here we are in Milan. It's 12:15pm EST, 6:15pm local time.

Almost 6:30pm local time and we're still going - but slowly!!

The architecture is staggering! It's hard to imagine that these churches took
200 years or more to build. And we wonder nowadays what's wrong when a building
takes longer than a year to complete!!

This talks about the battles fought and the lives lost or martyred to save
the city of Milano.

Finally starting to poop out!!

...so, it must be time to eat!! (got my vote!)

Lot's of MacDonalds over here - but not cheap!! $10 for a Big Mac meal.
